This past summer, Lawrence Community Park became the home of something powerful, positive, and deeply needed in Indianapolis. Brandon Beasley — athlete, mentor, nonprofit leader, and Eastside community advocate — launched The Hill, a completely free community workout and empowerment program operated through his not-for-profit organization, Triple Blessed.
What started as a simple idea to bring people together for exercise quickly evolved into a much larger community movement. “The Hill” has become a safe place for people of all ages to build healthier habits, connect with one another, and access real resources that improve their lives far beyond the workout itself.

A Free Event With a Purpose
Brandon Beasley made sure that participation in The Hill cost absolutely nothing. No fees. No memberships. No barriers.
He wanted a space where people could show up exactly as they are — physically, mentally, and financially — and still receive value, support, and encouragement.
The Hill promotes:
Free group workouts
Networking and community bonding
Positive mental health habits
A culture of accountability
A safe and welcoming environment for all
For many, The Hill became a weekly reset — a place to recharge, reconnect, and realign their goals alongside other people striving to become better.
Expanding Access Through Real Resources
What makes The Hill different from typical fitness gatherings is the set of real-life resources Brandon brings to the community. He partners with educators, business owners, trainers, and professionals who show up voluntarily to pour into the people.
Some of the resources provided at The Hill have included:
• Financial Literacy Sessions
Helping people understand budgeting, credit, savings, and wealth-building — especially for families who may have never had access to this type of education.
• Meal Prep & Nutrition Information
Not just “eat healthier,” but actual demonstrations, recipe guides, and affordable meal planning ideas that make healthier living realistic.
• Workshops for Beautifying and Upgrading Living Spaces
Helping people improve their homes and neighborhoods, creating pride and stability within the community.
• Giveaways & Community Support
Free Holloway costume giveaways for families
Local entrepreneurs donating products
Companies sponsoring fitness supplies and community items
Donation opportunities that go toward Brandon’s AAU basketball teams
Clothing, school supplies, and wellness items provided to attendees
Every resource is made accessible, free, and pressure-free — the way community support is supposed to be.
A Leader Who Shows Up for His City
Brandon Beasley has become one of Indianapolis’ most respected community leaders because he does the work with his own hands.
He doesn’t just talk about change — he actively creates the spaces where change can occur.
Through:
Mentorship
Youth development
Fitness and wellness
Nonprofit programs
Volunteer-based community service
Brandon has consistently proven that leadership does not come from power or titles, but from service.
The Hill Is Becoming a Statewide Model
As successful as The Hill has become on the Eastside, Brandon’s vision doesn’t stop there. He is already exploring opportunities to expand the program outside of Lawrence and into other parts of Indianapolis and eventually other Indiana communities.
His long-term goal is to create a statewide blueprint where:
Schools
Parks
Youth programs
Community centers
Nonprofits
Local businesses
…all work together to deliver the same high-impact, low-barrier community empowerment that The Hill has sparked.
The model works because it blends fitness, empowerment, resources, and real leadership — the exact combination needed to build stronger, healthier communities.
Shaping the Future of Indianapolis
The Hill is more than a workout. It is a movement.
A movement that teaches people:
To show up for themselves
To show up for their families
To show up for their neighborhoods
And to believe in what they can become
By empowering people physically, mentally, and socially, Brandon Beasley is shaping a community that believes in togetherness, accountability, and opportunity.
And as he continues to expand his programs throughout Indiana, one thing is certain:
The Hill is not just changing the community — it is building the future of it.
